Since 2008 I’ve worked as the designer for First Second books. As the only full-time designer on staff I work on everything including covers, interiors, lettering, color corrections, logos, ads, catalogs, managing our great freelancers, selecting artists, and singing at my cubicle loudly when I think no one else is left in the office. No wait, that last one wasn’t me…unless you are a record producer from the end of every 80’s band movie, in which case YES I WILL sign that million dollar contract you happen to have in your hand.
